A recently obtained access-to-information request reveals service times for lottery license applications from January 1, 2024, to April 8, 2024. 899 applications were received, and 728 applications were closed. 171 applications are outstanding, and 614 licenses were issued. The average wait time from application to licence issued was 21.53 days.
The service time from the date the application was received to the date the license was issued was 14 days or less for 222 applications or 35.99%, between 15 and 30 days for 187 applications or 30.46%, between 31 and 60 days for 204 applications or 33.22%, between 61 and 90 days for 2 applications or 0.33%.
