There are many tutorials online for animals made entirely from pom poms, but I find these can be quite complicated and are more suitable as an adult craft. The templates I’ve created to go with each of these animals involve simple cutting and gluing skills, all are free to download apart from the pom pom penguin, which you can find in our printable store.
To make pom poms, I always use our DIY Pom Pom Maker. There is a full pom pom tutorial and video here, along with templates for different-sized pom poms. It’s all great fine motor practice for your kiddos.
